Ines – (Bettina Burchard, 25) the leading actor, tells her story. The young, french single mother lives with her son Patrick (Laslo Oskajan, 6 years) in Normandy, the town where she grew up. After she finished school, she moved to Paris to study investigative journalism. Once her son was born she returned home to the Normandy. Through online research she found out about CO2 activists, led by Viola in Berlin. Ines decides to meet Viola and the group in Berlin. Accidentially she learns about radioactive waste just off the coast of her home beach. She decides to fight against the damage that will be caused to the environment.
Mark – (Benjamin Heinrich, 24) an American studying sports in Boston is visiting his sister Viola to support her environmental activities in Berlin. Mark and Viola’s mother is a history teacher, and their father a dentist in New York. Both parents support their ecological projects and iniatives. As soon as Mark is convinced about something he is willing to do everything to get this done – even sometimes above rights.
Viola – (Antje Koch, 27) an American who lives in Berlin to complete her botanical dissertation. She works as a guide in the botanical garden in Berlin. Her brother and her share the passion to save the environment. One of her spectacular activities against CO2 output took place just in front of the Brandenburger Tor.
Peter – (Michael Jassin, 26) a German law student and enthusiastic chess player. He lives outside Berlin in a house inherited from his parents. He knows Viola and Mark from previous activities and reviews each action for legal issues.
Barent – (Simon Newby, 51) the shadow lobbyist between politics and waste mafia. He is responsible for the structured countersink and the ocean dumping of atomic waste off the coasts of Mogadischu, Haiti and the poorest countries in the world. In the public eye he behaves as an environmental investor and visionary.
Diamond – (Jesse Inman, 38) a banker in London who has cheated a lot of investors and received a million pounds in commission.
Advani – (Prashant Jaiswal, 42) an Indian running a legal transport company by sea in Rotterdam which is used by the toxic waste mafia. As an opportunist he declares the toxic waste as Indian-Curry.
Alice – (Rebecca Wolf, 26) a Spanish young woman who is a good friend of Viola. She can’t bear Viola’s secrets.
Eva – (Ramona Beckmann, 24) born in London she is studying law. All her fellow students like her but her only interest is Peter. He convinces her to take part in dangerous events.
The galerist – (Mathieu Carriere, 62) supports the artist Salvo who has opened his cellar for Viola. Accidentially the galerist shows up in the illegal prison as he wants to pick up his „Lalique Bakelit Lamp“. This brings the young activitists, who are interrogating Advani, into a difficult situation.
Grandma – (Eve Slatner, 75) an American living in a villa from the 70s in a suburb of Berlin. Having retired from her international career as an opera singer. Francoi – (Johannes Prill, 42) is a Parisian journalist. Ines had completed her apprenticeship in his office and both are still friends. He warned Ines about the toxic waste mafia and recommended she avoid any contact with these killers.
Janet Jones – (Indira Weis, 28) a journalist who had an interview with Viola.
Mr. Chocolate – (Mario XXL Vasojevic, 48) creates the best chocolate but also offers a lot of different weapons in his kitchen. It can be assumed that his knowledge for weapons is based on his time in Kreml bakery.
Patrick – (Laslo Oskajan) Ines son.
Rico – (Axel Wedekind, 44) is an activist right from the beginning and is a „nerd“. His special knowledge is about hacking computers and building electrical devices. He’s planning a huge demonstration which Mark is attending with him. Mark and Rico met each other at an ecological demonstration in San Fransisco where Rico manipulated the loudspeakers of all McDonalds franchises so that the voices of screaming pigs from a butchery could be heard.
Tibor – (Gabor Altorjay, 61) an hungarian left-winger accomodates Ines and Patrick in his house in Berlin. He is singer of the band „Die schnellen Brüter“ and follows all conspiracy theories. He likes Ines and is willing to help her but then he finds a disturbing online video.
Ancorman – (Jerry Coyle, 53) News moderator at an American TV program.
